I work on a wide range — from end-to-end product design and UX strategy to CRO-driven redesigns, design systems, and design leadership engagements. I'm equally comfortable as an embedded team lead, a strategic advisor, or a hands-on senior designer. If you have a complex digital challenge that needs both sharp thinking and strong craft, that's where I do my best work.

Both, depending on what the project needs. I can work fully remote, hybrid, or on-site — I'm based in Hoef & Haag and regularly work in Amsterdam and across the Netherlands. For longer engagements I prefer being embedded in the team; it leads to better outcomes and stronger collaboration.

I start with understanding — the business goals, the users, and the gap between them. Before any sketching or prototyping, I want to be clear on what success actually looks like. From there I move through strategy, concept, and iterative design, keeping stakeholders close throughout. I believe good design is 20% craft and 80% clarity — if everyone understands the problem the same way, the solution usually follows naturally.

Yes — and it's one of the things I enjoy most. I've spent the past 8 years building and leading design teams at Avanade and iO Digital, covering everything from hiring and culture to DesignOps, methodology, and creative direction. Whether you need someone to step in as interim design lead, level up an existing team, or establish design practices from scratch, I've done all of it.

Absolutely. I've spoken at the iO Innovation Summit on AI & UX, at Emerce E-Day on designing chatbots that transform business, and served as subject matter expert at Avanade Inspire. I'm open to conferences, company events, and in-house workshops — particularly around UX strategy, design leadership, and the intersection of AI and human-centred design.
